About
A group of exiled travelers decide to restart their lives in a new land in this city-building strategy game. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from their homeland.
You can rely primarily on the residents of Banished for help. As they grow older, they work, have their own children, and eventually die. Making your town grow requires that you keep your residents healthy, happy, and fed. It is not enough to build new homes-there need to be enough people living there and having families of their own.
There are no skill trees in Banished. The building of any structure can occur whenever your people have the resources. Money does not exist. Trade vessels arrive and you can instead barter away your hard-earned resources. Their lengthy trade routes pose a risk of bringing illnesses from abroad to the townspeople. Nevertheless, these merchants add livestock and annual crops to the townspeople’s diets.
